To Existing Biogas Plant
Concord Green Energy Sdn Bhd
On 6th of May 2015, Concord Green Energy Sdn Bhd signed an agreement with FELDA Global Ventures Holdings Bhd to Build, Operate and Maintain FGV’s biogas plants complete with power generation facilities at FGV’s selected fourteen (14) palm oil mills for a period of sixteen (16) years.
Subsequently on 19 July 2016, CGE signed the Mill Specific Build, Operate and Own (BOO) Agreement with FGV to immediately start construction work on the four (4) Greenfield mills under Phase 1. The remaining ten (10) Brownfield mills will be developed in Phase 2.
Concord Biogas Sdn Bhd
Another wholly owned subsidiary company, Concord Biogas Sdn Bhd is also currently assigned by Kulim (Malaysia) Berhad to undertake the Power System Study with Tenaga Nasional Berhad and the Feed-in- Tariff (FIT) application in relation to the development of biogas to power generation at two of KULIM’s palm oil mills in Johor (Sindora and Tereh mills).
Concord Renewable Energy Sdn Bhd
Another wholly owned subsidiary of the Concord Group named Concord Renewable Energy Sdn Bhd (“Concord RE”) focuses in Engineering Design, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning (EPCC) work for the biogas industry in the palm oil market. Concord RE offers services such as:
- Project planning and consultancy
- Effective costing
- Knowledge in engineering design of biogas plants.
- Knowledge in operating successful and profitable biogas plant projects.
These services will be offered to clients for the entire tenure of their PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) or at least the initial few years after completion of their biogas plants.
Operation and Maintenance
Services is offered to our valued clients for the entire tenure of their PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) or at least the initial few years after completion of their biogas plants.
Option 1: With one (1) Plant Chief permanently posting in a completed biogas plant to lead a team of operators to operate and manage the day to day work.
Option 2: Mobilise entire team of approximately 5 specialists to operate and maintain a completed biogas plant.

Concord RE offers services and solutions in 3 major areas in the palm oil industry.
Our primary focus is to achieve optimum output of captured biogas from the palm oil mill effluent (POME) for combustion in boiler and convert the biogas for electricity generation with the most cost effective methods.
Project Management – Target on Greenfield Projects
Option 1: Turnkey basis on EPCC (Engineering; Procurement; Construction; Commissioning) for biogas capturing plants and organic wastewater.
Engineering design from KPSR (Martin Campell) will be incorporated for the construction; execution team will carry out the project management and execution works accordingly.
Option 2: Project Management and Supervision Services for projects constructed by other EPCC contractors.
